We welcome people from computational and biological backgrounds who are curious about the parts of the genome most studies leave out.
Open positions
There are no advertised positions right now, but we are always happy to hear from people interested in our work.
PhD students
We supervise PhD projects through King’s doctoral programmes and funded studentships. If you are applying for a studentship or fellowship and would like to work on the dark genome, get in touch early so we can shape a project together.
MSc and undergraduate projects
We host research projects for students on King’s bioinformatics and genetics courses. Projects are usually computational and use real sequencing datasets.
Postdocs and fellows
We are happy to support applications for independent fellowships from researchers whose interests overlap with ours.
Visiting researchers
Short visits and collaborations are possible. Tell us what you’d like to work on and for how long.
